Sarah Sinnott

Manager – Youth Economy

Sarah brings over a decade of experience working internationally and in Aotearoa to bring about social change through innovation, entrepreneurship and building strategic partnerships.

Born and raised in Auckland but with paternal roots in Ireland, Sarah has worked in Kenya, Bolivia and the United Kingdom as well as in New Zealand. She is fascinated by what good can happen when we blur the lines between the public, private and not-for-profit sectors.

She started her career within commercial law firms focused on corporate business development and then spent a year in international development work. She then transferred into the not-for-profit sector to work for Catch22 – a social business transforming the lives of young and vulnerable people in the UK. At Catch22 she designed strategic partnerships that were focussed on sustainability through commercial and socially impactful results, including working with large philanthropists, corporates such as Google and Barclays and social investors such as Big Society Capital.

Her role at TSI is to lead its Youth Economy mahi to focus on the catalytic changes required to increase economic engagement and agency for rangatahi in south and west Auckland.
